Vivian Shaw offers developmental editing, line editing, and proofreading for a wide range of fiction and non-fiction projects. She is especially interested in science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and horror work, on the fiction side, and in rapid-turnaround editing and proofing for scientific and philanthropic clients on the non-fiction side.

Some of her recent projects include the award-nominated author Amanda Downum’s novel The Poison Court and an ongoing consulting contract with the University of Maryland, Baltimore’s Office of Philanthropy.

Vivian also offers graphic design services, including logo creation and magazine and document layout. She works in InDesign and Illustrator. For examples of her work, see the portfolio below.
